DebtData accepts questions about published data, correction requests, source suggestions, accessibility issues, privacy requests, and general feedback about the site.

Data and Methodology Questions

When asking about a statistic, include the page title and the exact value, table row, chart, or statement involved. If the question concerns a source, include the dataset or report name when possible.

Correction Requests

For a possible error, describe what appears to be incorrect and provide the source or evidence that supports the correction. Differences between websites do not always indicate an error because sources can use different populations, periods, or definitions.

Source Suggestions

DebtData welcomes suggestions for official datasets, public research files, and well-documented studies that can improve an existing report or support a new research question. Primary sources are preferred.

Privacy and Data Requests

Requests concerning personal information, privacy rights, or data handling should identify the nature of the request and the relevant interaction with the site. Do not send sensitive financial records, Social Security numbers, account credentials, loan login information, or other confidential documents.

Accessibility

If a table, chart, navigation element, or other part of the site is difficult to use with assistive technology, describe the page and the problem encountered. Specific details about the device, browser, or assistive technology can help reproduce the issue.

Response Scope

DebtData can clarify published research and site policies, but it does not provide individualized financial, legal, tax, investment, credit, or student loan servicing advice. Questions about a specific loan account should be directed to the institution or servicer responsible for that account.
